Tricia Mlnarik, MFT
Tricia is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private therapy practice in San Jose. She began training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy in 2007 with Behavioral Tech., LLC, the primary training institute for Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Tricia completed Adolescent DBT Training in 2008 and the Intensive Training in 2010, led by Marsha Linehan. Tricia was a member of the Mid-Peninsula DBT consultation team from 2007 to the fall of 2010. To join a DBT team in the South Bay, she became a member of In-The-Moment DBT in the fall of 2010. Tricia is a graduate of Santa Clara University’s Counseling Psychology Program. She worked for a variety of Bay Area non-profits providing therapy and case management services prior to opening her own private therapy practice in San Jose in 2009. In addition to Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Tricia specializes in providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents. Tricia is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), Silicon Valley CAMFT, and the Association for Play Therapists (APT).
Renee Sanguinetti, MFT
Renee is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She completed an intensive training process in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in 2009, which was led by the creator and founder of DBT, Marsha Linehan. She also completed an advanced DBT training for individual DBT psychotherapy in October of 2010. Renee has extensive experience and success in providing psychotherapy for severely mentally ill adults with her work at Momentum for Mental Health (formerly Alliance for Community Care) prior to initiating her private practice in 2009. Prior to her work at Momentum, she worked at the Bill Wilson Center providing psychotherapy to adults, families and children. She also worked with the Franklin McKinley School District providing counseling to children. Her prior work history includes several years as a job search trainer and coach and many years of work in the advertising and marketing field. Renee attended and graduated from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology graduate school in counseling psychology and received a certificate in creative expression for her expressive arts work. She is a member in good standing of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the Silicon Valley branch of CAMFT.
Yvette Duarte, MFT
Yvette is a Licensed Marriage and
Family Therapist. She completed an intensive training process in Dialectical
Behavior Therapy (DBT) in 2012. Yvette has extensive experience and success in
providing psychotherapy for the severely mentally ill adults in an agency
setting and providing counseling services for two programs in homeless
shelters. Yvette has also provided therapy for women and their children who have suffered domestic violence in a housing support program. She has also worked with children in several school sites
throughout Santa Clara County. Yvette graduated from Notre Dame Namur
University graduate school in
counseling and art therapy.
Each of the practitioners in this program is a sole-proprietor, which
means that the professional is in business for himself or herself. This program is not a partnership, a
